Aletheia

Aletheia, in Search of the Invisible is a photographic project that proposes a new way of portraying the marine and terrestrial wildlife of Península Valdés. Taking advantage of the dynamic range of the GFX medium format and very slow exposures (5–10 sec), it captures movement instead of freezing it, playing with multiple planes of focus within a single image. The fieldwork, carried out throughout the entire season thanks to in-depth knowledge of the territory, documents southern right whales, elephant seals, dolphins, sea lions, and orcas. The project will culminate in a photographic exhibition and a bilingual photobook.
